A brand new Sony 3D Tv has been announced that has been made for PS3.
There will be a bundle that contains a 24in 3D monitor, a 6ft HDMI cable, 2 3D glasses and also Resistance 3. All this for $499.
The 3D glasses have been specially made so if you are playing slplit screen the 3D glasses will show different views for the other player, this way you can play split screen without actually giving up any space on the screen.
It seems Sony is really trying to push 3D

I paid more for my 60gb PS3
Most HDtv’s this size are the same price or even higher.
Yet, another pair of goggles are gonna cost a fat $70, if you want the split-screen groundbreaker.
i think they announced that the tv comes with 2 3D Glasses packed in right ?

This is an excellent idea. I can see this really taking off especially with the split screen 3D glasses. For that price its a bargain!
If I did not purchase the TV
and i purchase only the specially 3D glasses for this 3D TV
are the glasses will work in my own 3D TV?
so if I played split screen the 3D glasses will show different views in my Samsung 3D TV? or this can be only if i have this 3D TV
because like you know that this 3D TV are very small
my samsung 3D TV is 42 inches
so are the glasses will work in my 3D TV with the specially split screen or what?

i dont think it works that way, i think it needs to have the tv and the 3D tv work together specifically
